What gets you feeling like an incredible specimen of humanity? How often do you rest?Do you get time alone? Do you have one moment each day to fully rest? Finally, ask what could lift you up.
2. Have a Screenless Day
Next, disconnect from screens and technology. Of course, it doesn’t have to be a whole day. An evening or an afternoon works too. In fact, screens distract us from what we truly need. As a result, a little boredom makes room for the other activities on this list.
3. Have a Simple Healthy Dinner
Sometimes, shopping at the supermarket is just so enjoyable. Make yourself a simple yet tasty and healthy dish after that. Make a salad, a veggie sandwich, or even Indian cuisine. It all depends on what you fancy.
Besides, cooking for yourself is a great act of self-care. It shows you are willing to invest in your health. Also, it shows your meals are worth the time.

Self-care isn’t always laid-back . Instead, it could be very lively. For instance, you would feel more active, innovative, and optimistic. What is more, you can have fun either alone or with someone else. Just pick something you truly like. After all, you shouldn’t do it because you have to.
5. See a Friend

Reading aids brain development, memory, and empathy. Moreover, reading is very calming.. So set aside real time for it. Even a little time helps. Next, get comfortable. When I feel stressed or disconnected, I usually haven’t been outside in a while. In fact, our brains are hard-wired to enjoy greenery and water. In reality, sleeping during the daytime makes one more efficient and energetic. It also reduces stress and improves the mood of an individual. Hence, within even fifteen minutes, just relax.
14. Massaging your own feet, neck, and shoulders
We all enjoyed a nice massage. Just like hugging, we don’t need others to do it. For example, give yourself a foot massage. Or rub down your neck and shoulders. It was learned from Yoga With Adriene, and I practice it often. Besides, it helps to release the tension of the muscles in the upper body, which gets tensed due to stress. Most importantly, it is a loving gesture towards oneself. Above all, it’s an attentive act of self-love. So why not take five minutes?
15. Take a Slow Herbal Tea Break
On busy days, you may not have time for nature, movies, or friends. Rather, I have a cup of herbal tea for 15 minutes. For example, I make my desired tea and sit on the sofa. Alone time rarely happens by magic. Therefore, plan for it so it happens regularly. For instance, I can only truly unwind when I’m alone. If you’re the same, that’s perfectly okay.
